Bio

He was born in Caracas in 1857 and died in 1920. Emilio Boggio studied painting in Paris. He began to exhibit his work in the hall French Artists and was an important member of the Hall Autumn of Paris. In life the artist decided not to make individual exhibitions, making a single exception in the Hall the School of Finel Arts in 1919. Influenced by the French impressionist school, Boggio was an inspiratio for new movements in the Venezuelan painting. His work are represented in the Museum of Philadelphia, in Luxembourg, Paris and in the Museum of Fine Arts of Caracas, among others.
