Manuel Pinazo

(1956). Spanish artist, painter and sculptor. Manuel Pinazo Rodríguez received his artistic training at the Escuela de Eduardo Merello, adjunct to the Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Valencia; later on, he obtained a master's degree in artistic iron forging. Manuel, in return, proceeds to work in the world of arts through different branches and incursions, throughout different periods of time, working in positions such as Advisor for the Biblioteca Valenciana, Editor for Mundi-Arte, and Gallerist for various locations within Valencia.

About his artwork (The Triunphant Sun) and the metaphor of The Odyssey, he goes on to comment: “The gold color represents the great riches that they hoped to bring to Ithaca, but in the end it could not be, and that is why this gold color is dyed in the barely visible red of the blood of its crew, whom all perished, except Ulysses... "
