Venezuelan Artists
Born in Venezuela in 1952. From 1990, her interest lies on the manufacture of paper as an artistic resource, developing a language of abstraction that has been enriching itself with the support of different elements, technologies and continuous research.
Lia Bermudez is a renowned Venezuelan sculptor who has spent working iron sculptures, initiated and studied at the School of Plastic Arts of Caracas (1944-1946).
He was born in Caracas the 23 of November of 1901. He studied in the Academy of Beautiful Arts of Caracas and, adolescent still was united to the group of painters who integrated the Circle of Beautiful Arts.
Luis García "LEGZ" was born and trained in Caracas, Venezuela. As a graphic designer, having graduated from the Instituto de Diseño de Caracas (IDC) (Caracas Design Institute), his interest in typography started long before he began coursing his studies in design throughout the use of graffiti.
Luis Guevara Moreno was born in Valencia in June 21 of 1926. He studied in the Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Aplicadas de Caracas, between 1941 and 1945. Expelled from this center for promoting reforms, he joined the group of La Barraca de Maripérez, and works in ceramics.
Born in Caracas on February 9, 1956. Between 1978 and 1980 performed graduate studies in painting at Saint Martin's School of Arts in London United Kingdom. From 1973 to 1976 performed by the Pre-degree Pure Art in the School of Visual Arts Christopher Rojas Caracas.
If we look over Millé's career, we’ll notice that he is part of a new generation of Venezuelan artists, with pioneering influences including the likes of Jesús Rafael Soto or Carlos Cruz-Diez.
